It was during her own search to find assistance for one of her elderly family members, that Elizabeth Shewchuk recognized the need for non-medical home care for elderly loved ones, and founded Daughter for a Day.

Through her own familys’ situation, Elizabeth experienced that elderly family members want to remain in their homes as long as they can and decided that Daughter for a Day would provide the in-home care support, so seniors could do just that – as Home is where the heart is!
